Demanding a probe into Hokarsar encounter, the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Thursday urged the government to clear doubts regarding the allegations leveled by the families of the slain youth.
A statement of JKPCC issued here said that the Congress demanded probe to clear the doubts surrounding the incident as the families of the slain youth had contested the Police claim and said that the slain youth were civilians not militants.
The statement said that protests staged by the families of the slain youth had caused anguish among the people and urged the government to probe the allegations at the earliest.
