Professor Naseer Iqbal, Professor Department of Physics, KU, has been appointed as Director North Campus of Kashmir University.
An order in thisregard was issued here on 1 June by Assistant Registrar of the University.
“Till further orders Prof Naseer Iqbal, Department of physics shall function as Director, Northcampus in addition to his own duties w.e.f 01-06-2019, relieving dean Academicaffairs from the assignment,” reads the order dated June 1, 2019.
Professor Naseer Iqbal has earlier worked as Proctor, Dy.Chief Proctor and Chief Proctor of the Kashmir University.Prof Naseer has expertise in the field ofAstrophysics and has published about 30 research papers in leadingAstrophysical Journals. Apart from delivered lectures in differentInternational Conferences, he has worked for three ISRO respond Projects of theDepartment of space, Govt. of India.
