Private Schools Association of Jammu and Kashmir (PSAJK) today welcomed the directions given by Advisor to Governor Khurshid Ahmad Ganai to improve the punctuality and discipline in the educational institutions.
Stressing on theimportance of punctuality and discipline, the Advisor has called for observinga punctuality week from April 1, 2019. He appealed all the teachers’ lecturers,headmasters, ZEOs, principals and other heads of institutions to make thepunctuality week a big success by highlighting the importance of punctuality inschools, colleges and other educational institutions and make punctuality ahabit among the students and teachers.
He also expressed thehope that students and teachers in all the schools and colleges throughout thestate would actively participate in various activities planned for thepunctuality week.
PSAJK chairman G N Varwhile welcoming the directions from Advisor, said that lack of attendance andpunctuality had been one of the biggest problems confronting the educationssector particularly government schools. He said that an initiative likepunctuality week will go a long in inculcating the disciple and teach studentsabout worth of time.
He said that theassociation would extend full cooperation in observing the punctuality weekfrom April 01, 2019 with full vigour.
