Rafi Mir calls for consensus among political parties

People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chief spokesperson, Rafi Ahmad Mir, Wednesday called for consensus among political parties to address what he termed as growing political instability in Jammu and Kashmir.

Stating that PDP has offered its unconditional support toall regional political parties to rise above politics and unite to protect thestate’s special status, Mir said, “There are larger issues of politicalinsecurity that are highly questionable. It is beyond rumor-mongering and theabsence of an elected government. A consensus needs to be evolved on variouspolitical issues.”

   

Mir urged the party cadre to launch a vast contact programand reach out to the masses.

On the occasion, several political workers joined PDP.

Former Vice-Chairman Gujjar and Bakerwal Development Board,Choudhary Gulzar, and PDP Zonal President Pahalgam were also present on theoccasion.
