To commemorate the World Red Cross Day on 8th of May, a grand function was today organized at Dak Bungalow Baramulla.
The function, presided by DC Baramulla Dr G N Itoo ,was attendedby CEO, CMO, NYK Coordinator, DYSSO, other concerned officers, students,volunteers, civil society members and other prominent sections of the society.
This year the theme of the day was “What Do You Love AboutRed Cross”.Speaking on the occasion, the DC highlighted theimportance of the day and said the day reminds us of the services rendered byRed Cross and other volunteers during exigencies. He said that Red CrossSociety has evolved as a vibrant movement and exhorted upon variousstakeholders to strengthen the movement at different levels.
