Chairman, Kashmir Society International, Farooq Renzushah Wednesday urged the Governor’s administration to scrap the Alcohol Bill passed four years ago by the state assembly.
“The time has come to scrap the Alcohol Bill passed 4 yearsago by the state assembly and destroy all sorts of drug cultivation in Kashmiron war footing. I, as Chief Commissioner JK Scouts, have already advised lakhsof scouts to launch and anti-wine, anti-alcohol and anti-drugs campaign acrossthe state,” Renzushah said while delivering the keynote address at a culturalfunction organised by the Information department.
Director Information Gulzar Shabnam, prominent literaryfigures Hasrat Gada and Shabir Mujahid, Aziz Hajni, Nazir Josh and Riyaz Fazliamong others were also present on the occasion.
