A residential house was reduced to ashes and cattle charred to death in a blaze in Jada village of Karnah in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district Tuesday night.
A Police officer said that the fire broke out from the residential house of Alif Din Poswal, son of Mir Muhammad Poswal of Jada village of Karnah and soon engulfed the entire structure.
“Seven animals including a horse and cows were also charred to death in the mishap,” the officer said.
Police has registered a case.
