Jamiat-e-Hamadania patron Mirwaiz Molvi Riyaz Hamadani has paid tributes to Shaheed-e-Millat Molvi Muhammad Farooq on his 29th anniversary, saying Kahmir would never forget the late Mirwaiz’s contributions towards the community and propagation of Islamic teachings through sermons and publications. He said Mirwaiz Farooq made untiring efforts towards establishment of schools, libraries and Islamic institutions.
“Mirwaiz Farooq was a visionary and brilliant religious andpolitical leader. It is impossible to fill the vacuum created by his martyrdom.He carried forward the great legacy of his ancestors Mirwaiz Rasool Shah (RA),Mirwaiz Molvi Ahmadullah and Mirwaiz Molvi Yusuf Shah. Their legacy is alive inthe hearts of Kashmiris,” Mirwaiz Riyaz said in a statement.
