To mark the conclusion of the week-long awareness campaign under 30th Road Safety Week, a programme was held at mini secretariat Shopian today.
A good number of transporters, drivers, conductors and the common people participated in the function in which experts from Motor Vehicles Department delivered lectures on road safety measures. They stressed on the need for strict implementation of traffic rules and regulations to minimize road accidents and traffic jams.
Additional DC Muhammad Saleem, SSP Sandeep Choudhary, CPO, Deputy CEO and other officers also attended the function.
