A government school building was destroyed in fire at a village in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Wednesday evening.
An official said that the fire broke out in Government Primary School building in Nadigam village of the district at around 6 pm. He said that both the local residents and fire tenders reached the spot but could not save the building from being destroyed.
Local residents accused that the fire tenders reached late due to the partially cleared roads.
