Authorities have decided to close schools and colleges at various places across Kashmir on Tuesday.
District administration Baramulla has decided to close allschools in tehsil Pattan and Singhpora. “Degree college and highersecondary schools in Baramulla and Soporetown will also remain closed,” Deputy Commissioner Baramulla G N itoosaid.
All government educational institutions including schoolsand colleges of tehsil Sonawari in Bandipora district will also remain closedon Tuesday. Government degree college Ganderbal, government girls and boyshigher secondary school Ganderbal will also remain closed.
Class work will remain suspended at Government DegreeColleges and Higher Secondary Schools in Anantnag and Bijbhera towns ofdistrict Anantnag on Tuesday.
Classwork will alsoremain suspended at GDC Shopian on Tuesday, an official said. “The staffwill attend their duties as per routine,” the official said. Classworkwill also remain suspended at IUST
Meanwhile deputy commissioner Srinagar, Shahid IqbalChoudhary said all the educational institutions in Srinagar will remainfunctional on Tuesday. “We have not ordered any closure of educationalinstitutions,” he said.
