Secretary, Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Sheetal Nanda today chaired a meeting of officers to review the preparedness and planning for conduct of Jan Abhiyan or Awami Muhim preceding the third phase of Back to village(B2V3) starting from 10th of September, 2020.
The meeting which was held through video conference was attended by Directors Rural Development, Jammu, Kashmir, Director Panchayati Raj, J&K, Director Finance, Member Secretary MGNREGA, Superintendent Engineers (REW), Jammu, Kashmir, all Assistant Commissioners Development, all Executive Engineers(REW) and all DPOs.
While reviewing the preparations, Sheetal Nanda instructed all the officers to strictly adhere to the guidelines issued for smooth conduct of Jan Abhiyan or Awami Muhim which is preceding B2V3 and its three components viz. Aadhikaar Abhiyaan / Muhim Barai-e- Haqooq, Unnat Gram Abhiyan/ Dehi Tariqiyati Muhim, and Jan Sunwai Abhiyan/ Awaami Sunwai Muhim to be held before the commencement of Back to Village III. Nanda also directed both the Directors to personally visit and monitor the preparations for B2V3 on a daily basis and to appraise the administrative department.
