Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) chief Hakeem Yaseen has expressed serious concern over, what he said “the reign of terror let loose on the youth in various parts of the valley by the black sheep in security forces”.
Hakeem Yaseen, in a statement today, condemned use of ‘bruteforce’ on the innocent youth in Darmuna village of central Kashmir’s Budgamdistrict causing serious injuries to several youth who are battling for life inhospitals.
He said, “Due to unprovoked harassment and insult to youththe security situation in the valley was going from bad to worst each passingday. On the one hand, authorities do make tall claims about peace initiativesin the restive valley while on other hand, they are resorting to anti peopleand anti youth means which has made the security situation in the state veryexplosive and volatile. Arrest spree of youth underway in various areas of thevalley has made life of the common people like hell.”
Hakeem Yaseen has urged the governor administration to takestern action against the ‘black sheep’ in belt forces who are every now andthen seen ‘violating’ SOPs for their ‘ulterior motives’.
