SEECC delegation calls on Advisor Ganai

A delegation of School Education Employees’ Coordination Committee (SEECC) met Governor’s Advisor, Khursheed Ahmad Ganai here on Friday.

A spokesman of the SEECC in a statement said that thedelegation was led by the SEECC president Manzoor Ahmad. “The employeesapprised the Advisor about the issues confronting  them,” he added.

   

The state president of J&K Teachers’ Forum (JKTF)Muhammad Akbar Khan, according to the spokesman, raised all the issuesconcerning the teaching fraternity of the state. Manzoor Ahmad, who is alsopresident of lecturer’s forum, highlighted the problems faced by the lecturers.

Gazi Abdul Aziz  urgedthe Advisor to frame a comprehensive transfer policy for RRT’s and Grade IIteachers. Shah Fayaz pleaded for the speedy conversion of RRT’s who haveimproved their qualifications to teacher grade II.

The clerical fraternity was represented by Parvaiz Ahmad.

The delegation presented a memorandum to the Advisor whereinthey highlighted the issue of disproportionate pupil-teacher ratio ingovernment schools.
