Tehreek-e-Hurriyat (TeH) chairman Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai has strongly condemned slapping of Public Safety Act (PSA) on Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik, Jamaat-e-Islami spokesman advocate Zahid Ali.
“It is a sheer injustice and illustrates brazen display ofthis law and shifting of incarcerated leaders to far-flung areas,” Sehrai saidin a statement.
He said, “Hundreds of Kashmiris including socio-religiousand leaders have been held under administrative detention without being chargedor even told what crimes they are suspected of having committed.”
Jammu Kashmir NationalFront (NF) has strongly condemned theslapping of Public Safety Act (PSA) on JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik andhis shifting to Kot Balwal jail Jammu. “This act is purely based on politicalvendetta which is highly condemnable,” a NF spokesman said in a statement.
Tehreek-e-Muzahamat (TeM) chairman Bilal Ahmad Sidiquidenounced the slapping the PSA on Muhammad Yasin Malik, advocate Zahid Ali,Shabir Ahmed Falahi and others and termed it as the political vendetta.
