Sehrai pays tributes to Maqbool Bhat, Kulgam militants

Chairman of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai has urged people to observe the death anniversary of the JKLF founder Muhammad Maqbool Bhat with fervor and renew the pledge “to take the ongoing movement to its logical end.”

In a statement Sehrai said that “let us resolve that we will not fail in our endeavor. We have presented unparalleled sacrifice and now it is very imperative and obligatory to safeguard them. People should exhibit steadfastness and unanimity and keep away from the mainstream politicians.”

While paying tributes to late Maqbool Bhat’s  mother bibi Shahmala, Sehrai said that “she  sacrificed her four sons for Kashmir cause. Maqbool’s brutal murder lit the torch that has been guiding thousands of freedom lovers in Kashmir.”

Meanwhile, Sehrai paid glorious tributes to the five militants, who were killed in a gunfight with the government forces in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday.  “The indigenous uprising of the Kashmiris has been met, as usual, with brutal repression by forces. These brutalities will not suppress the spirit of the Kashmiris it will only intensify their anger and fortify their determination. These youth are our heroes and their sacrifices are part of golden history of our resistance,” he added.
