Tehreek-e-Hurriyat (TeH) chairman Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai has demanded unconditional release of Kashmiri political prisoners before the Eid-ul-Fitr.
“Traditionally states all over the world release theprisoners on this occasion, but in Jammu and Kashmir this tradition has noplace even for political prisoners and the tragedy is that even the arrestspree continues in this holy month of Ramadan. By placing the people in jailsfor years will neither solve the Kashmir and nor can be the realities regardingto this issue changed,” Sehrai said in a statement.
