The snow has been cleared from all roads in Ganderbal and Kangan, besides the essentials services have been restored in the district, the officials today said.
Talking to Greater Kashmir, additional district development commissioner (ADDC) Ganderbal said that men and machinery were pressed into service and first priority was given to the clearing of the snow from the main highway and the hospital roads.
The ADC Ganderbal accompanied by SDM Sunday visited several snowbound areas of Kangan and took first hand review of the snow clearance, and restoration of essential supplies.
During his visit, the ADC interacted with several people and enquired about the availability of essential services, commodities in their areas.
He also directed the officials to gear up the men and machinery to clear all interior roads in shortest possible time.
