Seven injured after passenger cab turns turtle in Uri

Reports said a vehicle heading towards Uri from Mangumode met with an accident near Magray mode, resulting into injuries to seven persons.

Seven passengers were injured on Thursday in a road accident in Garkote village of Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Reports said a vehicle heading towards Uri from Mangumode turned turtle near Magray mode, resulting into injuries to seven persons.

An official said the driver escaped from the spot after the accident.

The injured were shifted to sub-district hospital Uri for treatment where from Noor Muhammad was referred to district hospital Baramulla for specialised treatment, he said.

He had suffered multiple fractures in his right arm, said the official.
