At least seven youth were injured during clashes in south Kashmir’s Shopian town on Saturday morning.
Reports said that scores of youth pelted the CRPF personnel deployed at district court complex with stones soon after culmination of Eid prayers.
The forces retaliated by firing pellets and tear gas into the protesters, causing injuries to seven youth, they said.
The injured were shifted to a local hospital for treatment.
