Jammu and Kashmir National Conference State President WomenWing Shameema Firdous on Tuesday called on Governor Satya Pal Malik at the RajBhavan and sought fast track inquiry into the alleged rape of a 3-year-old girlin Sumbal area of Bandipora district in north Kashmir.
“Firdous submitted a representation to Governor urging thatthe case be tried by a fast track court,” said a Raj Bhavan spokesman.
Governor has assured her that every possible action would betaken to provide justice to the victim.
