A grocery shop gutted in an overnight fire in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Sources said the shop owned by Fayaz Ahmad at Khankha Mohalla of Sopore was gutted completely in the fire which broke out at around 1 AM on Thursday.
Reports said locals reached the spot and tried to douse the flames. Till the fire tenders reached the spot, the shop was gutted completely and goods worth thousands of rupees were destroyed in the fire.
The cause of fire was not immediately known.
Meanwhile, police took cognizance of the matter.
