Director Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) on Friday cancelled all leaves of employees in the wake of Coronavirus threat.
An official said all the leaves of medical, paramedical andadministrative staff of the institute were cancelled, except the leaves onextra ordinary ground.
In view of the threat of Covid-19, which has been declaredas a worldwide pandemic, all the leaves of employees of SKIMS and SKIMS MedicalCollege are herby cancelled with immediate effect, said an order. The staff already onsanctioned leave has been directed to resume duties immediately in order toprovide uninterrupted medical services to public. “No fresh case ofearned/casual leave shall be entertained,” said the order.
