Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K) conducted an Entrance Test for admission to various Master’s Degree Programmes for the academic session / year 2020. The Entrance test was held at 24 different test centers for four days at Shalimar Campus from September 15-18, 2020 while following SOPs of COVID-19 pandemic.
91 per cent candidates appeared in the Test for Master’s Degree Programmes out of 845 eligible candidates in the field of Agriculture, Veterinary, Horticulture, Agril. Engg, Sericulture, Forestry and Fisheries.
Prof. Nazeer Ahmed, Vice-Chancellor, SKUAST-Kashmir accompanied by Prof. M.H. Balkhi Director Education, Prof. M.H.Wani, Registrar and Prof. Dil Mohammad Malkhdoomi Controller Examinations visited some of the examination centres to have on spot assessment about smooth conduct of the Entrance Test especially to oversee arrangements put in place with regard to SoPs / guidelines. Vice-Chancellor expressed his satisfaction over the arrangements made.
Chief Nodal Officer/ Medical Officer, SKUAST-K alongwith team of Medical Unit were also on duty during Entrance Test days.
