Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) Wednesday concluded a three-day workshop for welfare of SafaiKaramcharis at its central office here.
Free Medical checkup/health camp for all SafaiKaramchariswas held under the supervision of Health Officer SMC DrJavaid Ahmed Qazi. Thecamp was organised by the Corporation in collaboration with ST/SC/OBCDevelopment Corporation and Directorate of Health Services
A statement said physician, dentists, opthomologists,paediatricians, gynaecologists and other specialists from Directorate of HealthServices conducted free checkups, tests and USG of SafaiKaramcharis andprovided free of cost medicines.
The officials appreciated SMC and other departments fororganising such medical camps for SafaiKaramcharis and hoped these camps wouldbe organised.
