A well known social activist and prominent figure of Chanapora, Srinagar, Farooq Khan alias ‘Medical’ passed away on Thursday night at his residence.
Family sources said, Khan died due to a cardiac arrest.
The deceased was a prominent figure of the locality, who hadkeen interest in taking part in social issues. A large number of peopleparticipated in his Nimaz-e-Jinazah.
The Chaharum of the deceased will be observed at hisancestral graveyard Mini Colony, Chanpora on Monday at 10 am.
