An Army soldier shot himself dead inside an army camp in Kulgam district, police said on Saturday.
A police official said that Abishekh Roy Kumar, a wireless operator at a Rashtriya Rifles camp, shot himself dead with his service rifle on Friday evening. “The soldier died on the spot. The reason behind his death is unknown,” he added.
