South Kashmir: Anantnag, Bijbehara towns shut for second straight day

Anantnag and Bijbehara town in south Kashmir remained shut for the second straight day on Friday in wake of two militant killings yesterday.

Reports said that all shops and other commercial businessestablishments remained closed will traffic was also of the roads.

   

Heavy deployment of government forces has also been made atthe sensitive points in both the towns to thwart any law and order problem.

Two Hizb ul Mujahideen militants were killed in a gunfightwith the security forces in a pre-dawn gunfight in Bijbehara yesterday.

The slain were identified as Safder Amin Bhat (25), son ofMuhammad Amin of Zirpara Bijbehara and Burhan Ahmad Ganaie (25) of MaliporaHablish Kulgam.
