South Kashmir boy pens tears fall in my heart

Adnan Shafi, 23, hailing from south Kashmir’s Tral has released his maiden book ‘tears fall in my heart’.

The book has been published by Global Fraternity of Poets atHisar in Haryana and is available on Flipkart, Amazon and other online shoppingportals.

   

About the book Shafi said: “I might not have been able totell the complete story regarding Kashmir conflict, but my motive was to bringthe readers as close as possible to its reality. I feel I have been able to doso.”

The young writer said his father was his motivation forwriting this book. “During my childhood my dad used to tell me to writearticles and books due to which I gained interest and finally wrote this book,”said Adnan.

Before publishing his first book, Adnan said he hascontributed articles and short stories for several news organisations inKashmir. “I am looking to write more books in future. I am currently working ona novel that will be completed soon.”

Shafi a resident of Chandrigam village in Tral, has donepost-graduation in English and is currently pursuing his second PG in PublicAdministration through Indra Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).
