Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly, Dr Nirmal Singh today visited the MLA Hostel and took stock of the facilities available to the legislators, there.
Secretary Assembly, MR Singh and other concerned officers also accompanied Dr. Singh during the visit. The speaker inspected various sections of the complex including, Residential Quarters, Dispensary, Canteen, Kitchen, lawns besides other areas and took thorough account of the amenities available to the inmates. He also inquired about the quality of healthcare and food facilities. He directed the concerned for improving the overall standard of facilities at the hostel for the Members, besides laying utmost stress on maintaining the sanitation levels within and around the complex.
Meanwhile a 11-member delegation of Committee on Panchayati Raj of Maharashtra Legislature headed by its Chairman, Suthirtarwe called on the Speaker at the Legislature Complex here today.
