A Special Police Officer (SPO) identified as Peer Khalid has been arrested for his “sarcastic post” on Facebook about a particular community, Police said on Wednesday.
An official said that a written complaint was received by Police Station DangiwachaRafiabad from member of a particular community regarding a “sarcastic post” by the SPO.
“Accordingly, a case under FIR No 12/2021 under sections 295 A and 153 A of the Indian Penal Code has been registered at Police Station Dangiwacha and further investigation set into motion,” the Police official said.
