A Special Police Officer (SPO) was shot at and injured by suspected militants in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district late Wednesday night.
A police official said that suspected militants barged into the house of Bilal Ahmad around 11:45 pm in Karimabad village and fired upon him.
Ahmad suffered injuries in his right leg and was shifted to district hospital Pulwama from where he was sent to Srinagar for specialised treatment, he said.
