Srinagar administration reaches out to students from Ladakh

The Srinagaradministration Thursday reached out to students from the UT of Ladakh who arebased in Srinagar pursuing their studies.

It reached out to373 students located in various areas across the district and provided themwith the different food items and groceries.

   

The food itemsprovided to each student included 5 kilograms of rice, 2 kilograms of pulsesand 500 grams each of sugar, salt and chilli-powder. Each student was alsoprovided edible oil, tea and soaps.

These items wereprovided for two weeks after which the students will again be reached out andprovided food items and groceries as required.

The outreach wasmade under the supervision of Sub Divisional Magistrate East Srinagar SandeepSingh Bali.

It should be notedthat the Srinagar administration is reaching out to all residents includinglocals and non-locals in the district and providing requisite assistance inview of the restrictions put in place in the district in the wake of COVID-19outbreak.
