The strategic Srinagar-Jammu highway continued to remain closed on Thursday due to fresh snowfall, an official said.

It has been snowing in the Qazigund-Bannihal sector of the highway.

"Intending travellers are advised to contact traffic control rooms before undertaking their journey," Shah said.
