Srinagar police organise 'youth interaction'

Srinagar Police today organised a ‘youth interaction’ at Burnhall School Sonwar to spread awareness regarding the harmful effects of drugs.

The focus of the programme was to provide insights to the students into the repercussions of drug addiction and its harmful effects.

Starting the session, SDPO Nehru Park spoke about the prevalence of drug addiction in Kashmir, and causes and consequences of substance abuse.

She also spoke about preventive measures and the efforts made by the J&K Police to prevent the drug addiction among youth.

The administration and students of Burnhall School lauded the efforts of police in organizing such programmes. They said more such programmes should be organised in future, a statement here said.
