A truck driver was found dead inside a parked truck under mysterious circumstances between Nowgam and Jawahar tunnel sector of Jammu Srinagar National Highway on Monday morning.
The truck was heading towards Srinagar. Police said a truck driver, found unconscious inside a parked truck, was rushed to Sub District Hospital Banihal, where doctors declared him as brought dead. Police identified the deceased driver as Manzoor Ahmed Lone, son of Abdul Rehman Lone, resident of Dalgate Srinagar.
After conducting post-mortem and other legal medical formalities the body of the deceased driver was handed over to his relatives.
Police have initiated Inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC at Police Station Banihal to ascertain the real cause of death.
