SRM Welkin teacher wins national level competition

Bringing laurels to the Valley, Asmat Khurshid, a teacher of SRM Welkin school Sopore, has won a national level competition titled “Teachers are Artists” which was conducted by Macmillan Education India.

In a handout issued here, Asmat was the only teacher from J&K who won such a prestigious award in the competition.

   

“With this feat the school has now joined the top ten schools across the country to win this honour,” said Vice Chairperson SRM Welkin School, BaseemaAnayat.

The handout reads that around three lakh teachers across India had participated in the contest including 50000 from J&K.

“Out of them over a hundred teachers from SRM Welkin also participated in the event,” the handout reads. The Chairman of the SRM Welkin School, Haji AnatullhaHajni, vice chairperson BaseemaAnayat and Principal of the school G.M.Matoo have congratulated the teacher for adding another feather to the cap of achievements of the school..
