SSP Srinagar M Haseeb Mughal on Saturday held a meeting with retired police officers and personnel at police lines here to review progress of welfare measure for them.
A large number of retired police officers and officialsparticipated in the meeting.
“During the meeting retired police officers and officialsraised the issues pertaining to welfare of families of serving, retired policepersonnel and martyr’s families including role of retired police officers forimparting training to the serving police officers/officials, hostel facilitiesfor safe and secure accommodation of retired police personnel at Jammu,Srinagar and Delhi to facilitate their visits to these cities,” an officialstatement said.
The SSP, on the occasion welcomed the suggestions andassured that their grievances will be resolved on priority and further taken upwith the higher authorities for early redressal.
