Authorities on Friday retrieved state land from encroachers at Humhama in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
A team led by Budgam tehsildar Nusrat Aziz retrieved a huge chunk of Kah-charie at Friend’s enclave Humhama. The land measuring 6 kanal and 7 malras had been encroached by installing iron wiring. The officials removed the wiring and iron-gate and took the land in their possession. A hoarding was installed that land is under possession of naib tehsildar and trespassers shall face strict action as per law. The authorities said that the land retrieved is worth Rs 18 crore.
