Structured dialogue with PDP soon: BJP

Singh, who is camping in New Delhi for past few days along with other party colleagues, said, “Informal chat is on with the PDP.”

Putting all speculations at rest, the BJP Wednesday said that structured dialogue over government formation will take place between the Central leadership of the party and the leaders of PDP “very shortly.”

The party also claimed that during the course of formal dialogue, Common Minimum Program would be framed.

“We reject the rumours that the verdict thrown up by Delhi polls would cast a shadow on government formation in JK,” BJP’s national executive member and MLA-elect, Dr Nirmal Singh told Greater Kashmir over phone from New Delhi. He, however, didn’t mention any specific date when the two parties would begin formal talks.

Singh, who is camping in New Delhi for past few days along with other party colleagues, said, “Informal chat is on with the PDP.”

On CMP, he said it will be finalised in the course of formal discussions between the leaders of the two parties.

Besides Singh, BJP’s JK chief Jugal Kishore and party’s State Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul are in Delhi to deliberate ways and means of initiating formal discussions with the PDP. The party has categorically ruled out that the shocker it has received at the hands of Aaam Admi Party (AAP) would affect the government formation in JK.
