‘Students stranded outside facing problems’

Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) Thursday urged J&K administration to immediately look into the issue of Kashmiri students stranded in different parts of the country.

In a statement the party spokesperson Altaf Thakur said thegovernment should appoint a nodal officer who would stay in touch with thesestudents or else a mechanism should be evolved to air lift the students back totheir homes.

   

Thakur said he has been receiving hundreds of phone callsfrom students, who were studying in various colleges and universities acrossIndia.

He said there were dozens of Kashmiri students stranded invarious universities including Dehradun, Chandigarh Global University, who werefacing immense problems.
