Dr Syed Abid Rashid Shah, IAS, assumed the charge as district development commissioner Pulwama on Thursday.
Immediately after assuming the charge, the DDC had an “introductory cum interactive” meeting with all district and sectoral-level officers.
While addressing the officers, the DDC reiterated his commitment toward good governance. The DDC said his administration would be responsive and accountable.
Earlier, the DDC held an interactive session with the media persons, where he said that positive and constructive role of media would change the perception of people towards government.
