Senior Peoples Conference leader and parliamentary candidatefrom Baramulla Raja Aijaz Ali has expressed concern over the immensedifficulties faced in Tangdar and Karnah due to blockade of roads.
In a statement Ali urged the Governor’s administration to make arrangements for airlifting essential supplies to mitigate the hardships faced by people.
“Continuous road blockade has cut off Tangdar and Karnah from the rest of the state. Residents of these far flung areas are facing tremendous difficulties due to acute shortage of medicines, baby foods, essential supplies and food commodities.
Trucks carrying essential supplies are stuck which has resulted in wastage and losses.”
