A government teacher and a class 4th employee were attached on Wednesday by the Department of Education in Anantnag district after a video showing the students washing their cars went viral on social media.
In the video, the duois seen making at least six students of a government-run middle school washtheir cars near a stream at Khreti-Iqbalpora village of Kokernag area.
The video has evoked sharp criticism from the netizens.
“Making students clean their personal cars, that too duringschool hours is a grave offense. The education department should initiatestrict action against the teacher,” wrote one Maheen on his Facebook wall.
CEO Anantnag Abdul Rouf Shah said both the teacher and theclass IV employee has been attached pending inquiry against them.
