A teenager critically injured in forces’ action at Srigufwara area of Bijbehara on Friday succumbed at SKIMS Soura on Sunday.
ShahidNazirHajam son of Nazir Ahmad Hajam, a class 10 student of village Sirhama suffered bullet injury in his head after forces used live ammunition to break up protests near the site of the gunfight at Khiram-Nowshera on Friday.
Hajam was shifted to SKIMS in critical condition and was put on life support system.
Four militants, the house owner Mohammad Yousuf Rather in whose house the militants were hiding and a policeman were killed in the gunfight.
Protests erupted at Sirhama as Hajam’s body reached there.
