Police on Friday claimed to have cracked a theft case in central Kashmir's Ganderbal district by arresting two persons and recovering stolen property from them.

DySP Ganderbal Rameez Ahmed said that police station Khirbawani received a complaint on Feb 14 about a theft after which they launched an investigation.

“During investigation, one suspect was detained on whose disclosure three stolen Maruti vehicles and a motorcycle was recovered,” he said.

He said another person involved in the theft case was also arrested.
