Thousands of the people on Sunday participated in the funeral prayers of Hizb militant Rouf Ahmed Khanday at his native Dehruna village of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Thousands of people from Dehruna and adjoining villages assembled for his funeral while women raised slogans to eulogize him.
Khanday was killed in a gunfight in Dialgam village while his associate surrendered after appeals by the family.
