Thousands of vehicles were left stranded on the historicMughal road from Bufliaz side on Thursday after the authorities didn’t allowthem to move ahead because of one-way restrictions.
A traffic police official said that they had issued atraffic advisory yesterday but the motorists didn’t follow them.
SSP Poonch Ramesh Angral said only one-way traffic fromKashmir side was allowed today due to bad condition of the highway.
He appealed to the motorists to follow the trafficguidelines to avoid inconvenience.
Meanwhile, motorists have staged a protest at Bafliaz,demanding that they be allowed to move ahead.
