Three policemen and a civilian were injured in a grenade blast in Damhal-Hanjipora area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Thursday.

Reports said that suspected militants lobbed a grenade at a police party in Damhal-Hanjipora today, leaving three cops and a civilian injured.

An official said that the two injured policemen and the civilian were shifted to Sub-District Hospital Damhal-Hanjipora.

"Another injured policeman was shifted to District Hospital Kulgam for treatment," he said.

Soon after the attack, forces cordoned off the area to nab the assailants, said the official.
