Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday claimed to have arrestedthree associates of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen militants in Awantipora area of southKashmir’s Pulwama district.
They have been identifiedas Aadil Rasool Ganie resident of Batagund, Riyaz Ahmad Bhat and Mohd IsaqBhat, both residents of Tral Payeen, said a police spokesman, in a statement.
He said the trio wasinvolved in providing shelter, logistics and other kinds of support tothe militants of Hizb operating in the areas of Tral.Case FIR No. 16/2020under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Tral.Further investigation in the case is in progress, he added.
